Big Mama Laundry Café
Description
Big Mama pulls off something that shouldn’t work: a laundry drop-off, surf shop, cafe, and paint-while-you-wait activity space all under one roof, and none of it feels half-baked. The food is the real draw – the homemade tomato soup with pesto cheese toast and the shakshuka both have repeat customers coming back same-week, which says more than any rating. Portions are generous and prices are fair, especially relative to everything else on Tourism Road.
The coffee holds up too. The matcha gets specific praise, the flat white is properly made, and the staff move fast even when the place fills up. It runs on a vinyl-and-surf-gear vibe that doesn’t try too hard – open-air, roomy, with decent WiFi if you need to work through a long wash cycle.
Laundry is ₱250 for 1-5kg, board rental runs ₱700 a day, and they sell shirts, stickers, and jewelry if you’re shopping. Just check holiday hours before hauling your dirty clothes over – at least one person showed up to a closed laundry service and had a bad day.
