Surf & Yoga Siargao
Description
A small, all-inclusive surf and yoga camp on the quieter north side of the island – think freshly cooked meals, daily yoga sessions in an open-air shala, and surf coaching in the water every day. Surf instructor Jerey (also goes by Je or Jay depending on the review) gets name-dropped constantly, which tells you something. The place runs on a slow, intentional rhythm that either clicks for you completely or feels limiting if you showed up expecting a proper surf progression program.
Accommodation is compact and nature-facing – reviewers who expected something larger based on photos were occasionally surprised. But the trade-off is a tight, friendly guest group and staff that genuinely seem to give a damn. The new sauna and cold plunge are a nice bonus nobody advertises upfront.
This suits someone who wants structure without rigidity: wake up, move your body twice a day, eat well, sleep early. If your main goal is serious surf improvement with video analysis and drill-based coaching, the reviews are split enough that you should ask specific questions before booking.
Highlights
- Food is freshly prepared, healthy, and gets strong marks across almost every review
- Staff atmosphere is genuinely warm without being performative
- Yoga sessions run with rotating instructors throughout the week, giving variety in style and approach
- Surf coaching quality is inconsistent depending on which instructor you get; Jerey is the standout but not always your assigned coach
